The Illinois Gaming Board issued an order that two of four of the applicants will proceed through another round in the determination of a South Chicago casino license. The Ho-Chunk Nation’s planned casino project in Lynwood, Illinois will not proceed.
The Ho-Chunk Nation owns and operates the Southland Center, a multi-use sports training, competition, and recreation facility. The Ho-Chunk Nation is planning to continue those operations.
