D1 Representatives Attend Renaming Ceremony in Green Lake

Several tribal members of the Ho-Chunk Nation to participate in the renaming of the Daycholah Center, a property of the Universal Church of Christ, as part of a years-long project to acknowledge the process of colonization.

The ceremonies focused on the Ho-Chunk Nation’s involvement in the church and added the historical context of tribal life before colonization.
